Governor Envisions Positive Impact From Lord Ahmad's Visit

Montserrat’s British Governor has been reflecting on a recent visit to the island by the UK Minister of State with responsibility for the Overseas territories, Lord Tariq Ahmad.

Lord Ahmad stopped over in Montserrat as part of a swing through the Caribbean Overseas Territories where he focused primarily on Disaster Preparedness and Public Register of Beneficial Ownership.

His Excellency the Governor Andrew Pearce said Lord Ahmad’s visit was a very impactful one.

Governor Pearce said the overarching interest of Lord Ahmad however was Montserrat’s economy and its sustainability into the future.
