Conversation Intensifies on Access To Montserrat
As the conversation intensifies around the issue of access for Montserrat, the suitability of aircraft to operate into and out of the John A. Osborne Airport has become a major discussion point.
And, another aviation professional is suggesting more intense dialogue aimed at arriving at the best option for the island.
Former LIAT pilot, Montserratian captain Carl Burke feels that consultation with key stakeholders will go a along way towards improving air access for the island.
Captain Burke is adamant that with variations considered, the reintroduction of twin otter aircraft service will greatly improve airlift which will redound to economic benefits for Montserrat.
