Carnival 2023-2024 a "Success."
Director at the Montserrat Arts Council, Kenneth “Rabo” Silcott has called the 2023 Montserrat Carnival a success, stating that he sees hope for the future of the island’s culture.
Speaking at the Closing of Carnival on Tuesday, Silcott attributed the carnival’s success to hard work and dedication.
He shared some of the highlights of the carnival season, focusing on the increased involvement of the youth.
Silcott also appealed to current and future political leaders to invest in Montserrat’s culture.
