A Call for More Compliance with the Island’s Immigration Laws

Acting Chief Immigration Officer, Charles Thompson, has made a call for more compliance with the island’s immigration laws.

Mr Thompson says it has been noted that a number of visitors, for whatever reason or reasons, have failed to extend or regularize their stay on the island.

In such case, Mr Thompson says they have been asked to leave.

The Deputy Immigration Officer was speaking close on the heels of what some may describe as a recent increase in deportations from the island.
