More Than 3,000 Registered To Vote
More than three thousand persons have registered to vote so far for the upcoming general election.
Preliminary figures released by the Electoral Commission indicate that 3,432 names are on the voters list as of February 28, 2024.
This is slightly lower from the 3, 858 who registered for the previous election in 2019.
Polling Division 3 in Brades has the most registered voters with 749 or 22 per cent.
The elections are constitutionally in 2024, and Registering Officer Francelise White says voter registration is continuing.

Meantime, the Electoral Division has given more details about the new Polling Division, the Mobile Polling Division, which would include the prison, hospital and care home.
