Darenthea Sweeney Reflects On Her Success In Completing The Island Innovation Climate Justice Leaders Academy's Online Program
Volunteer at the Disaster Management Coordination Agency (DMCA) Daranthea Sweeney has successfully completed the Island Innovation Climate Justice Leaders Academy's 6-month online program.
The programme offered a unique opportunity for young Caribbean environmental advocates and community leaders like Sweeney to learn about Climate Justice, engage with global policymakers, and promote climate action.
Sweeney also has an opportunity to be selected to travel to the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference in November 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan, which is fully funded.
She shared some thoughts on her experience, discussing the importance of the program.
