Montserrat National Trust Director “Delighted” at Growth of Annual Flower Show
The Director of the Montserrat National Trust has expressed delight at the growth of the annual flower show.
Sarita Francis says the quality of the show this year bodes well for the future.
The event was held during the St. Patrick’s Festival on March 12th and 13th under the theme "Rising from the Ashes: 30 Years in Bloom."
This celebration of Resilience and Natural Beauty, commemorated three decades of Montserrat’s remarkable journey of recovery and renewal since the Soufrière Hills volcanic eruption.
The champion exhibitor this year is Aldean Williams.
She the flower show gives the opportunity to display her fabulous floral designs and horticultural excellence.
During the prize giving ceremony on Sunday, prizes were also distributed to children who took part in the art competition.
