Inspector Chantal Hussey Promoted to Superintendent of Police
The Royal Montserrat Police Service (RMPS) has announced a major promotion in its senior ranks.
Inspector Chantal Hussey has now moved up to the substantive rank of Superintendent of Police.
According to the RMPS, Superintendent Hussey has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and dedication throughout her tenure with the Service.
It outlines that from spearheading safeguarding operations and enhancing community policing strategies to driving policy reform and strengthening operational readiness, Superintendent Hussey has been a champion of excellence and integrity in service.
The RMPS adds that her vision for the Service is future-focused, community-powered, and digitally enabled, positioning the organization to meet the evolving needs of Montserrat.
In congratulating Superintendent Hussey’s achievement, Commissioner of police Mark Payne states that they are confident that, under her leadership, the RMPS will continue to grow as a trusted, innovative, and partnership-driven organization committed to public safety and national development.
He adds that Montserrat should be proud of their homegrown officer.
Commissioner Payne shared that it is great to see Superintendent Hussey progressing through the ranks, emphasizing that she is a role model for others.
