Rotary Montserrat Commemorates 55th Anniversary with Burial of Time Capsule

The Rotary Club of Montserrat on Friday celebrated a milestone with the burial of a time capsule.

Governor Her Excellency Harriett Cross, Parliament Secretary Crenston Buffonge, Rotarians and well wishers gathered at Olveston House, for the event to commemorate the organization’s 55th anniversary.

The capsule, filled with items reflecting the club’s legacy and values, is set to be opened in 20 years, serving as a symbolic bridge between generations of Rotarians.

Director Michelle Cassell described the burial as more than just placing objects into the ground, calling it "planting a legacy."
