Premier Meade Attends Caribbean Development Bank’s 55th Annual Meeting in Brazil
Premier and minister for Finance and Economic Management, Honourable Reuben T. Meade, is attending the 55th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors (BOG) of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in Brazil.
This annual meeting is being held in Brasília, from June 9 – 12, 2025, under the theme, “Building the Future: Resilient Institutions for a Greener, Stronger, and Inclusive Caribbean.”
The meeting’s agenda addresses the most pressing development challenges faced by the Caribbean.
Regional leaders, international partners and development experts are brought together at the meeting to advance toward institutional resilience, economic competitiveness and inclusive growth for its Borrowing Member Countries (BMCs).
According to a press release from the CDB, the sessions offer practical solutions to accelerate project implementation, strengthen policy execution, expand regional partnerships and drive innovation in finance to deliver tangible benefits to Caribbean economies and communities.
Beyond the high-level discussions, the Meeting will also facilitate knowledge-sharing, networking, and informative forums for policy development and decision-making.
