Montserratian Cops Prize in Antiguan Fashion Competition

A Montserratian placed third in the 2018 Fashiontastic Fashion Show Competition “Showdown of the Fiercest” on Sunday May 27th at the Avec Amour Arbedeen Drive Buckleys in Antigua.

Sonnika Weekes, who participated under the name TeykelDesigns, competed against five other up and coming, talented designers to showcase her skill, talent, creativity and cohesiveness.

The competition consisted of three sections “Floral Explosion”, “Summer Bang” and “Who Rocked it Best”.

Lashanie Designs of Antigua placed first and the only male in the competition R.H placed second.

Lashanie Designs won both the floral & Summer Bang section while R.H won the “Who Rocked it Best” section.

The overall winner got $3500EC, a month internship with Mr. Calvin Southwell, and a trophy, while Second place won a trip to Trinidad, $250US and a trophy.
