Montserrat’s New Governor Sworn in Wednesday Afternoon.
Montserrat’s new governor, Her Excellency Sarah Georgina Tucker as she took the Oath of Office Wednesday afternoon during a special sitting of Parliament at the Montserrat Cultural Centre in Little Bay.
Governor Tucker replaced Andrew Pearce who serve in that capacity for the last four years.
In her address to the House, Governor Tucker has pledged to work together with elected officials to move Montserrat forward.
