Finance Minister Should Ensure Accountability Under Regulations
The accountability that comes with approved spending by the Legislative Assembly came under the microscope recently during debate on a Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report on findings into the operations of the Office of the Deputy Governor (ODG).
The PAC report also contained recommendations for improved operations of the (ODG).
Minister for Education, Health and Social Services, Honourable Charles Kirnon believes that all money matters should be vested in the minister for finance under financial regulations to ensure proper accountability.
