Labour Minister Vows Action Amid Commissioner Appointment Delay

The non-appointment of a new labour commissioner here has caused some consternation among the public.

Since the retirement of then labour commissioner, Rudolph Christopher, the efforts to appoint a replacement has been painstakingly slow.

Labour minister Honourable Veronica Dorsette-Hector acknowledges the lengthy delay and promised that in collaboration with the Human Resources Unit a new labour cocmmissioner will be in place shortly.
