CDEMA Representative Gives Positive Review on Recent DMCA Hurricane Simulation Exercise

A representative from the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) has given a positive review of the recent hurricane simulation exercise here.

Program officer for preparedness and response at CDEMA, Rasheed Pinder, was present for the hurricane response simulation on island which was conducted by the Disaster Management Coordination agency (DMCA) last week.

Pinder said he hasn’t seen any area for concern.

An exercise report will be done on the simulation and recommendations given to authorities to review and update their plans. Further national level exercises will be conducted in June as the hurricane season begins.
