Commissioner Payne: Police Making Progress on Public Safety

Commissioner of police, Mark Payne, says the Royal Montserrat Police Service (RMPS) has made significant headway in its efforts to keep the island safe.

Speaking on the “What’s on your mind” radio programme Thursday, Commissioner Payne revealed that they have procured drones to cover and monitor areas that are not accessible by foot or vehicles, and especially for security and search and rescue purposes.
