Local Educator Appeals to Parents and Employers: Make Time for the Children
A prominent early childhood educator on Montserrat is urging parents to invest more time into their children.
Principal of the Lookout Nursery School, Eurlin Jeffers made this comment after the schools Health day walk and exhibition last Thursday.
The principal stressed the importance of parents attending their children’s events and spending time with them.
Mrs. Jeffers also encouraged employers to allow parents to attend these events, noting that the children are the future of Montserrat.
Meantime, Jeffers also appealed to parents to take children outside more often as many children are not accustomed to the environment.
