Montserrat Participates in CARICOM Young Professionals Programme
Two young men are representing Montserrat at the CARICOM Young Professionals Programme (CYPP).
Doron Cassell and Enver Browne join peers from across CARICOM for a five-day orientation and training workshop in Georgetown, Guyana, from June 2nd to 6th.
The initiative, coordinated by the CARICOM Secretariat with support from the 11th European Development Fund, aims to build the capacity of young professionals from CARICOM member states in implementing the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME).
Participants will also contribute to strengthening regional integration efforts.
The selection process for CYPP was said to be competitive and transparent, with a regional committee evaluating candidates based on defined eligibility and merit criteria.
